Your Language Learning Environment includes your home and family, social environment and friends, workplace, local community, face-to-face and online courses youre participating in, online and mobile self-study materials, and media (TV, radio, newspapers). Learning and teaching are creative, spontaneous and enjoyable. Learning and teaching a language is interactive, experiential and continuous. A favorable learning environment is like a resourceful playground for learners as well as an enchanting stage for teachers. A favorable learning environment is far from given; however, it is created and maintained by both teachers and learners. It is necessary to build the environment that will support learning. It does not just magically appear. It takes time, commitment, and belief in oneself and ones students. All students can learn, given the appropriate supports and models, once the barriers to responsive education are eliminated. These barriers include:
